Ladies Tuesday Social

Whether you have never picked up a club before or you have been playing for years and want to sharpen up your game, the Ladies Tuesday Social is the session for you.

Starting on Tuesday 8th September, we are launching a relaxed monthly group coaching session specifically for lady golfers aged 20 to 40. Sessions run on the first Tuesday of every month from 12pm to 1pm on the course at Lexden Wood in Colchester.

All standards welcome

This is not a competitive session - it is a friendly, social way to play more golf and get to know other ladies at the club. Complete beginners are very welcome. You do not need a handicap, you do not need your own clubs, and you do not need any experience at all. Just turn up and we will take care of the rest.

For those who already play, it is a great opportunity to work on specific areas of your game in a relaxed, no-pressure environment alongside other ladies at a similar stage.

Stay for a coffee - or something stronger

After the session, stick around and head into the restaurant and bar. It is the social element that makes this more than just a coaching session - a chance to meet new faces, catch up with other members, and genuinely enjoy being part of the club. Whether you fancy a coffee or a glass of wine, you are very welcome to stay as long as you like.

Why we started it

We know that getting into golf - or getting back into it - can feel a bit daunting, especially if you are not sure where to start or whether you will know anyone. The Ladies Tuesday Social is designed to take that barrier away completely. A familiar face, a relaxed format, and a friendly group make all the difference.

Ladies golf at Lexden Wood is growing, and this session is one of the ways we are making the club even more welcoming to women of all ages and backgrounds.
